About Stefan

Something I have learned from working with clay is that even the hardest stories can soften over time. Not dissolve, but soften. The material remembers every touch, every pressure, every repair. And so do we.
I think of the therapeutic space in similar terms: a studio for rehearsing realities. A place where the parts of us that froze in order to survive can begin, slowly, to move again. Where rupture and repair are not opposites but partners in the same long process.
My work sits at the intersection of somatic therapy, bodywork, and artistic practice. I draw on over a decade of training in Somatic Experiencing® (SE), NeuroAffective Touch® (NAT), Focusing-Oriented Therapy, and Family Systemic Constellation Work; integrating verbal and nonverbal approaches, therapeutic touch, movement, voice, and creative practices including mask work, drawing, and claymaking. I am currently a doctoral candidate in existential psychotherapy at the New School of Psychotherapy and Counselling.
I work primarily with developmental and transgenerational trauma, preverbal states, dissociation, shame, and relational rupture and repair. I also work extensively with performing artists and those whose lives move through the body: dancers, musicians, makers, integrating somatic awareness into the specific pressures and vulnerabilities of creative practice.
In both therapy and performance, I'm holding a field where something can change, not through force or persuasion, but through presence, attunement, and the slow unwinding of what was once fixed. My intention is to help you metabolise the wisdom that your body already holds but what your mind may not yet understand. So together we can work to loosen the grip of trauma, not by erasing it, but by creating new conditions where new experiences can emerge.
I believe that healing happens not only through insight but through sensation and relationship. And I believe our bodies already know the direction, so our work together is learning to listen to it.
I offer individual sessions in person in London, Belgrade and online. I am a member of the Complementary Therapists Association (CThA) and the Somatic Experiencing Association UK (SEA), and a student member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).
